EPAHP advances inclusive procurement and market linkages in Region XII
Koronadal City, July 4, 2025, EPAHP, led by RPC Ibrahim Sangcupan and the regional team, in partnership with Lutayan Mayor Datu Yassin Mangudadatu, successfully conducted an orientation on the Negotiated Procurement – Community Participation (NPCP) in Koronadal City. The activity aimed to prepare for the 2026 rollout by empowering farmers and community groups to become direct government suppliers. Mayor Mangudadatu expressed full support and committed to aligning next steps with the LGU’s BAC and procurement team, signaling strong local leadership toward inclusive development. In another meaningful event, EPAHP celebrated a simple but powerful breakthrough through its partnership with Mall of ACE Centerpoint and community-based organizations (CBOs). The Highland Vegetable Farmers Agriculture Cooperative delivered its first batch of fresh produce to the mall—marking not just a sale, but a step toward market dignity and recognition. With the support of ACE Centerpoint, this effort gave farmers direct access to a fairer, more stable market. Cooperative leaders Johnny Tolentino and Renante Gegantoca shared their gratitude, saying this opportunity brought them hope and pride. The mall also offered better prices than local middlemen and paid in cash ensuring immediate income for farmers and their families. These two activities reflect EPAHP’s growing impact: empowering communities, building partnerships, and creating real opportunities for local farmers to thrive. #BawatBuhayMahalagaSaDSWD
