EPAHP RPMO IV-A Attends Kick-off Meeting in Sampaloc, Quezon Adopting NP-CP for the 14th cycle of SFP
The EPAHP-RPMO introduced the "big brother, small brother" strategy to the LGU Sampaloc, Quezon to encourage participation from CBOs that still lack the necessary documentation to engage in the procurement process during a consultation meeting last 23 September 2024 in Sampaloc, Quezon. The LGU, represented by the MSWDO and BAC agreed to procure rice and eggs through Negotiated Procurement-Community Participation, while also exploring the possibility of obtaining squash, water spinach, and string beans to achieve the 30% of the food requirements purchased from local CBOs. This strategy is expected to meet their food needs while empowering the community by supporting local businesses.
