EPAHP RPMO conducted 120 CBO mapping activities across Region VI in 2024

The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) RPMO FO VI conducts Community-Based Organization (CBO) mapping activities on 120 CBOs in 2024.

In 2024, EPAHP RPMP conducted CBO mapping activities across all provinces in Region VI, encompassing 120 CBOs. RPMO staff conducted on-site assessments of each CBO to evaluate their potential as suppliers for institutional feeding programs such as Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP), Centers and Residential Care Facilities (CRCF), and Walang Gutom Program (WGP).

These CBOs had been previously endorsed and undergone a desk review. The on-site visits served to further assess their readiness, focusing on existing registrations, documentation, and overall capacity to meet the requirements for Negotiated Procurement-Community Participation (NP-CP) compliance. Of those visited, 52 were identified as ready suppliers, with 42 meeting the requirements for Negotiated Procurement-Community Participation (NP-CP) compliance.

Prior to the on-site visits, these CBOs had been endorsed and undergone preliminary desk review. This initiative aimed to identify and qualify CBOs capable of effectively contributing to food security and hunger mitigation efforts through their participation in institutional feeding programs.
