The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP), conducted a ceremonial signing of agreements with the Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs), Irrigators Cooperative, Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) and Local Rice Farmers on October 17, 2024 at Davao City.
The ceremonial signing of agreements aimed to formalize the involvement of selected livelihood-funded groups in acquiring food items for the 14th cycle of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP). This agreement will benefit eight Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations, five Irrigators Cooperatives, one Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organization, and one Local Rice Farmersโ Group across 15 Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Davao Region.
DSWD FO XI Regional Director Atty. Vanessa B. Goc-ong; the Innovations Division Chief, Anne Y. Jickain; SLP Program Coordinator, Dexter M. Lara; and Supplementary Feeding Program Head, Laraine Villaver were present during the ceremonial signing of agreements.
A representative, Mary Ann Cabillon, from Camanglangan Federation of SLP Association Inc., one of the participating livelihood-funded groups, expressed her gratitude through a message during the ceremonial signing of the agreement.
