The EPAHP program aims to have the BIR as a partner within Region 6 to provide technical assistance to Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in obtaining registrations and addressing other tax-related matters.

One of the key objectives of the EPAHP Program is to promote the use of Negotiated Procurement – Community Participation (NP-CP). This approach aims to connect capable CBOs with institutionalized feeding programs as their potential suppliers. However, a requirement for participating in NP-CP is for organizations to be registered with the BIR and have audited financial statements.

Recognizing that many CBOs currently lack these requirements, the EPAHP Program seeks to forge collaboration with the BIR to capacitate these CBOs.
