DSWD 12 EPAHP visits Kamada SLPA in Magpet, witnesses women-led success and everyday heroism
July 17, 2025, Magpet, Cotabato .As part of its regular monitoring, the DSWD 12 EPAHP team visited the Kamada Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA) in Magpet and witnessed their second successful delivery for Cycle 15 under the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP).
The association, proudly led and powered by women, continues to provide fresh vegetables and poultry meat with remarkable care, passion, and teamwork.
One story that stood out was that of a dedicated daycare teacher who bravely crossed three strong rivers just to collect food supplies for her center. Her selfless act reflects her commitment to ensuring that children in her care receive healthy and nutritious meals—no matter the challenge.
This visit reaffirmed the meaningful impact of DSWD, through EPAHP and SFP, in reaching even the most remote areas. With strong partnerships and the dedication of community champions, real change continues to take root where it’s needed most.
