COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN SOCSKSARGEN TO SUPPLY DSWD 12 FEEDING PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
General Santos City - A total of 13 Community-based Organizations or CBOs received today their signed Notice of Award (NOA) determining them as winning bidder to supply various needs of the agency's Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP).
Said CBO-suppliers were named after the Bids and Awards Committee of DSWD12 deliberated the procurement process through NP-CP modality or Negotiated Procurement - Community Participation.
During the conferment of NOA held here, Regional Director Loreto Jr. Cabaya reminded the CBO-suppliers to deliver quality goods and supplies in order to maintain their integrity and reliability as a promising business enterprise.
Their Contract with the attached delivery schedule was also signed indicating their responsibilities during the implementation.
Present during the Conferment of NOA were ARD Samuel Camaganacan of DILG12, ARD Romel Patrick Tanghal of DepDevXII, who both lauded the convergence of efforts to help families and communities rise above poverty.
Keynote Speaker Dr. John DC Acosta of EPAHP - NPMO commended the DSWD12 leadership, as the agency prioritizes anti-poverty measures to uplift the lives of the poor.
Meanwhile, Jackiya Lao, chair of Bids and Awards Committee of DSWD12 expressed commitment to continually provide technical assistance to CBOs to improve their capabilities as well as promote transparency in procurement processes.
Among the CBOs identified to supply goods with corresponding amount of contract were: Barangay Rubber Farmers Agri Coop (1.2M), Koronadal City SLPA (340K), SUBACIA (5.3M), Ladifa (6.67M), Tantangan SLPA (2.3M), Highland Vegetable Farmers (7.1M), San Emmanuel (4.9M), Alabel Farmers (6.3M), Kablacan (136K), Glamang Communal (4.48M), SLPBA (385k), Sto.Nino Peace Dev (350K) and Kamada (2.8M).
Also present were partner representatives from Mahintana, ACPC, NIA and PIA.
