DSWD and FAO Concludes Final Training and Pilot Testing of the Digital Mapping System

The Management Information System (MIS) specialist from the United Nations - Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) presents the beta version of the Digital Mapping System (DMS) that the organization developed together with the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at the Luxent Hotel on Thursday (November 23).
DSWD and UN-FAO also conducted the final training for the pilot testing of the DMS to the different agencies who will use the system.
The DMS is an effort under EPAHP that will strengthen the capacities of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and small-holder farmers by linking them to prospective markets such as the DSWD’s Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP).
