Two (2) Kumustahan Sessions of Program Convergence Budgeting Projects (PCB No 1 & 3) in just a day: Facilitated by EPAHP FO VIII

The Kumustahan session is a testament of the convergence strategy between the internal partners of EPAHP FO VIII proven to be vital in the effective delivery of project implementation of partner agency with the DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program.

Spearheaded by the DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), the two (2) Kumustahan Sessions were successfully conducted last January 23, 2024, in coordination with EPAHP RPMO acted as event facilitator being the convener and secretariat in the morning and afternoon schedule. The PCB NO.1, Dairy Production and Processing, morning session with partners involved in this converged project are the National Dairy Authority (NDA), Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), DOST, DTI, CDA, and PCIC. For PCB No.3 Partnership for Sustainable Living (PSL), the partner agencies in attendance were TESDA, DTI, and PCIC in the afternoon session.

The activity is conducted to check the progress on the implementation of the Dairy Production and Processing and Partnership for Sustaining Living (PSL) for 2023, to sustain it beyond if there is a crucial need. These activities will address issues and concerns through possible agreements/recommendations to smoothen these PCBs and ensure the sustainability of partnerships. Also, this PCB virtual convergence meeting will frame ideas/strategies for the betterment of this particular converged project, both current PCB projects and planned for implementation, having the ultimate goal of socio-economic upliftment of our marginalized individuals being one of the Zero Hunger projects.

With this strengthened collaboration undertaken by DSWD SLP and EPAHP, is the realization of the Regional Convergence Team (RCT) implementation plan for 2023 and the CY 2024, since PCB projects form part of the RCT’s integral plan.
