EPAHP CBOs and Partners join NNC's Nutrition Month 2023 Launching

As part of the 49th Nutrition Month 2023 celebration, DSWD Field Office 7 participated in the regional launch conducted by the National Nutrition Council Region VII in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Services (DSWS) of Cebu City in Plaza Sugbu earlier.
The launching event, which was called "aFOODable Fair," showcased affordable, accessible, safe, and healthy foods from local producers and farmers. Through the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program, the department joined the food fair by inviting partners to display their products to be sold during the fair.
Aside from the food and product displays, other activities were lined up for the event, including the search for the Little Prince and Princess of Nutrition Month, where children from the daycare centers wearing their colorful vegetable and fruit costumes delighted the participants; a dance contest; and a cooking contest, among others. The Nutrition Month Prayer and pledge were also recited. #BawatBuhayMahalagaSaDSWD
