Gulayan sa Bawat Bakuran ng Barangay Naggasican Wins Champion Title in 2024 Walang Gutom Award

Barangay Naggasican has been honored as one of the two champions in the Barangay Level category of the nationwide 2024 Walang Gutom Award. This prestigious recognition highlights the remarkable success of the "Gulayan sa Bawat Bakuran" initiative.

As part of this achievement, Barangay Naggasican has been awarded a total of 2 million pesos from the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). These funds will be instrumental in enhancing their projects and expanding the barangay's anti-hunger programs, allowing them to reach more beneficiaries and further improve the health and nutrition status of their constituents.

In addition, the provinces of Isabela and Quirino were recognized among the Top 17 National Finalists. Isabela's Rice Assistance Program (I-RICE AP) and Quirino's "I Love Quirino Caravan: Foods and Nutrition Security" initiatives each received 1 million pesos to support their efforts in combating hunger and promoting food security.
