EPAHP R02 Successfully Validates 44 Community-Based Organizations in Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Isabela, and Cagayan

The EPAHP TEAM in Region 2 has successfully validated 44 Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) across the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Isabela, and Cagayan as of June 2024. This validation process was conducted to ensure that qualified CBOs can be linked to the Institutional Feeding Program, enrolled in the Digital Mapping System, and endorsed to supply the demand requirements of Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Feeding Program based on their validation and assessment.

The CBOs we visited were very enthusiastic about the program, expressing hope that it would significantly benefit their cooperatives and associations. Key benefits include access to a steady market and increased visibility and sales of their products through the Digital Mapping System.

Several CBOs have also requested various training programs to enhance their knowledge and grow their businesses.

The DSWD EPAHP RPMO is committed to providing a steady market for qualified community-based organizations, supporting the government’s efforts to address hunger, food and nutrition security, and poverty.
