The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty Program persistently works towards mitigating hunger, ensuring food and nutrition security, and reducing poverty in both urban and rural communities.

In collaboration with its partner agency, the National Irrigation Administration, a significant milestone was achieved through the successful conduct of the Ceremonial Signing of the Marketing Agreement at Gibong River Irrigation System Office in Prosperidad, Agusan Del Sur, which commenced on February 27, 2024. This noteworthy event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Community-Based Organizations (WEBAMSI Irrigators Association and Agusan Sur Rice Farmers Federation Inc) and the newly Demand Partner of EPAHP under the private sector spearheaded by their Area Merchandising Operations Officer Mr. Albert Ulep, Kaulani Dagani - Store Operations Manager of Prinicity - Incorporated Prosperidad Branch and Mrs. Thea N. Bermoy-Store Operations Manager of Princity - Incorporated Bayugan Branch.

This activity was facilitated by the dedicated teams of NIA, led by Engr. Peter E. Pablo, Acting Division Manager of NIA ADS, Mrs. Susanita V. Gozon, Chief Irrigation Development Specialist, NIA Staff, DSWD EPAHP - Regional Program Coordinator Mr. Sam Boy L. Salboro and his team.

The signing of the Marketing Agreement serves as the overarching purpose of fortifying the partnership between supply and demand partners. Aligned with the core objectives of the EPAHP Program. This collaborative effort underscores the potential to overcome the challenges of hunger and poverty through unified action.
