Multi - agency team vows support to reduce hunger and poverty.
Koronadal City – A multi-agency team, known as the Regional Convergence Team (RCT), has pledged its support to reduce hunger and poverty in Koronadal City.
CT is composed of various government agencies and organizations, including DA, DOST, DTI, DepEd, DILG, DOH, BJMP, DICT, NNC, CDA, ATI, PCC, NDA, PCIC-11 and 12, NFA, BFAR, TESDA, LBP, NMIS, NIA, POPCOM, PCA, and one Civil Society Organization, Mahintana Foundation Inc.
The team, led by the Department of Social Welfare and Development XII (DSWD XII), signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP).
The agreement demonstrates the commitment of various government agencies and organizations to work together to address the causes of hunger and poverty in the region.
The DSWD XII and RCT partners aim to create a region where every individual has access to sufficient food and is lifted out of poverty. (RCB/SMO)
