DSWD XI FUNDED ASSOCIATIONS SUPPLY GOODS TO ITS CENTERS AND RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITIES

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through the efforts of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) assisted the SLP Federation in Davao City on their first successful delivery of procured food items, groceries and wet products to the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) at Bago Oshiro, Davao City, on April 3, 2023.
The Davao City SLP Federation which consists of 9 SLP Associations was able to supply a total of P40,385.00-worth of purchased goods for the RRCY. The deliveries were made possible through direct purchase. The Department, along with internal partners, has worked hand-in-hand to monitor and assist the associations.
Members of the federation expressed their gratitude to DSWD FO XI management for the opportunity as suppliers of the center's weekly food requirements. 
The federation is also expected to supply goods to the DSWD Reception and  Study Center for Children (RSCC) and Home for Girls and Women (HGW).
