EPAHP X together with NIA launches Marketing Agreement Signing between NMMC and BAFFIA
July 4, 2024 | DSWD FO X - Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) together with the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) launches a Marketing Agreement Signing between Northern Mindanao Medical Center and Baungon Farmers – Federation of Irrigators Association (BAFFIA) which is located in Imbatug, Baungon, Bukidnon.
The participants of the event are Dr. Jose C. Chan, FPOA, FPCS, MHA, FPCHA - Medical Center Chief II of Northern Mindanao Medical Center, CDO, Engr. Elipidio D. Lucernas, Jr.

Supervising IDO, NIA Bukidnon IMO, Leo P. Mercado - President, Baungons Farmer, Federation of AI (BAFFIA), INC. and the members, Ramel F. Jamen - Regional Director, DSWD, and Mark Kenneth G. Macas - EPAHP Capbuild and Planning Officer.
A one year contract for the delivery of rice requirements of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, 21 sacks of 50 kgs of rice per week at ₱55.00 per kilo negotiated price. The projected monthly income of the association would be 231,000.00 pesos.
EPAHP aims to provide access for Community-Based Organizations to prospective markets which will lead to attaining sustainable livelihood. These CBOs are also beneficiaries of the various government agencies.
