Community-Based Organizations Validation in Lanao del Norte

In accordance with the issuance of Memorandum from Secretary Rex Gatchalian, reiterating the utilization of the Negotiated Procurement- Community Participation (NP-CP) in the DSWD Feeding Programs. Mandating all Field Offices to engage in NP-CP when procuring commodities for the DSWD feeding programs subject to Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) Guidelines. 

This is in support also with the Memorandum Circular No. 47, s. 2024, issued by the Office of the President, Directing All Government Agencies and Instrumentalities, and encouraging all local government units, to support the implementation of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty Program. Through this the EPAHP-RPMO with the joint efforts of Provincial Convergence Team of Lanao del Norte, conducted a Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) Validation from the endorsement both from the Regional and Provincial Supply Partners – BFAR, DA, PCA, NDA, NIA, and PCC.

The Memorandums released strategically meets the adoption of the  Community Participation Procurement to encourage CBOs in the EPAHP Program, enhance sustainability of the EPAHP Program through implementation of policies that will engage the private sector, and institutionalize mechanisms in LGUs.
